Sen Xu Presents Novel Genomic Tools for Daphnia at DBS Seminar

Dr. Sen Xu presented the Xu Lab’s latest gene-editing and single-cell genomics research during the opening seminar of the DBS 2026 Fall Seminar Series.

On August 27, 2026, Dr. Sen Xu presented “Developing Novel Genomic Tools for the Microcrustacean Daphnia” as a promotion seminar and the opening talk of the Division of Biological Sciences 2026 Fall Seminar Series in Room 18, Tucker Hall.

Dr. Xu introduced the Xu Lab’s efforts to develop gene-editing and single-cell genomic sequencing tools for Daphnia. He highlighted how these approaches enable new discoveries about the genetic basis of phenotypic traits and discussed their role in the lab’s ongoing research projects.

Sen Xu presents the lab’s work on genomic tools that connect genotype to phenotype.
